Wazhma Aslamy, MD, FACC


Dr. Aslamy graduated Magna Cum Laude in Biology from Arizona State University and received her Medical Doctorate (MD)  from the University of Arizona in 1991. After completing her internship and residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, she completed a three year Fellowship in Cardiology at Kaiser Permanente Hospital at the University of Southern California. She joined Az Cardiology Group in 1997.

Dr. Aslamy is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. She is a designated Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) representing the highest level of training. 

Dr Aslamy performs diagnostic cardiac catheterization. She also practices all aspects of non-invasive cardiology with special interests in nuclear cardiology and echoardiography.
