You and Your Blood Thinner

 

We are dedicated to safely managing your blood thinner and are availble to answer you questions and concerns at any time.  Before starting a blood thinner, we will present you with material to help you understand how to take your medications, and what precautions should be taken about your diet.  If you are placed on warfarin (Coumadin) we will discuss with you how we monitor the medication initially and when your dosage has been stabilized.  The following references are designed for patients and reflect our approach to the management of your blood thinner.
