David Hoelzinger, MD, FACC, FSCAI

 

Dr. Hoelzinger received undergraduate degrees from the University of Notre Dame (Biology) and the University of Washington (Microbiology) and his Doctorate (MD) from the University of Vienna, Austria. His residency in Internal Medicine was completed at the Hackensack Medical Center in NJ, and he completed a Fellowship in Cardiology at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ.

 

Dr. Hoelzinger is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. He has been recognized by his peers and is designated Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) as well as the European Society of Cardiology (FESC). He has been recognized as one of Phoenix Magazine's “TOP DOCs”.

 

He practices all aspects of interventional and non-invasive cardiology, with a special interest in cardiovascular health in athletes and preventative cholesterol management.  He is also fluent in German.
